Hi everyone!
Hope you're all keeping well! The past two weeks have definitely been interesting, especially with the unexpected cold front and snow this week when the weather was so nice the week before! Strange times we live in!
Not complaining, it will be nice to see proper snow one day here in the UK, even though it's April - and this is not an April Fools, we actually had snow, didn't last long of course!
Here's what I've been up to in the past 2 weeks...
Updated Desk Setup
This week I was mainly working on my new desk setup, particularly as I will be working from home more often. One of the first upgrades I made was some new keycaps for my Cooler Master CK550 v2 keyboard (My daily driver). I decided to make the keyboard look nicer with a the HyperX Pudding Keycaps. I decided to upgrade my sound, starting with the EPOS GSX 300 external sound card by EPOS | Sennheiser. I wanted to improve the sound coming out of my headphones and coming in from my mic and so far it's made quiet an improvement compared to the built in soundcard on my rig. Talking about the sound, I also changed my mic a little bit. I decided to get a more professional mic so I got the Neewer NW-700 XLR Condenser Kit and the sound recordings already sound so much better compared to my previous mic.
I also decided to upgrade my webcam to the Razer Kiyo Pro which I can confirm is worth every penny. There was meant to be a video review coming today but unfortunately something happened to my camera and it did a very bad job of recording the sound, so I will need to rerecord vast chunks of the video. But never the less it's a great webcam, highly worth the purchase!
Last but not least, I made some upgrades to my rig by doubling up the memory to 32 GB because it's 2022.

Upcoming Changes
As a new tech creator, I am constantly trying new things to see what works and what doesn't. That's why I decided to make more vlogs, these will be videos made with limited editing but will express my opinion about particular subjects in tech. I think that this is a great idea, particularly as I work full time along side of my YouTube.
I'm also hoping to add a video overview in each newsletter, starting from the next one.

Sony WF1000XM3 Wireless Earbuds
Since I migrated to Android, I was looking for a new set of truly wireless earbuds with active noise-cancelling. The Sony WF1000XM3 seemed to be a great choice. I know that this isn't a new model or anything, but I picked these up for more that half price and I think it was the best investment I made in a long time. Not only is the active noise-cancelling great, but so is the sound quality and the app that controls them. There will be a review coming up soon!
